A Barter system is an old method for exchanging goods for services and vice versa. This Barter system has been practised in India for centuries, long before currency was introduced. People started exchanging their goods & services for someone else’s services & goods in return. Bartering is usually conducted directly between two parties, however, it may be done multilaterally through an exchange of Services or Goods between more parties.
